Flameproof RTD sensors with ceramic protection tubes are designed for temperature measurement in hazardous environments. They are made flameproof and explosion proof via a robust die cast aluminum head and mineral insulation. Optional heads include cast-iron, SS304 and SS316. The standard head for Flameproof RTD sensors is certified flameproof for gas groups I, IIA and IIB. An assembly certified for gas group IIC (Hydrogen) can also be constructed. RHF200 RTD sensors measure temperature between -50 and 250 °C. The RTD element is terminated in nickel-plated brass terminals mounted on a high-purity steatite terminal block. The block is mounted on a spring loaded stainless steel disc to protect the ceramic from impact and vibration damage as well as ensure proper contact inside the protective well. Flameproof RTD sensors are generally constructed with single cable entry and single compression cable glands however, dual cable entry and double compression cable glands are also optionally available. Other options include connecting cables and thermowells.

Sanitary RTD sensors with threaded female nuts are built for dairy, beverage, food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, where maintenance of hygiene is critical in order to prevent contamination. The female nut is designed, so that no thread is exposed, thereby preventing any contaminant buildup.

Its threaded female nut is made of SS316L grade material. The RTD sensor is built with SS316L sheath. As the sheath does not bend, a sheath length greater than 300 mm is not recommended. The sheath terminates into a die cast, weatherproof aluminium head. The RTD sensors measure temperatures between -50 and 250°C. Its 2, 3 or 4 wire Pt100 RTD element can be constructed in single or dual assembly in Class A/Class B as per the IEC 751 standard for RTD sensors. The terminal head of the RTD sensors has a standard 1/2” BSP (F) single cable entry and a single compression cable gland with the option of dual cable entry and double compression glands.

Sanitary RTD sensors with ingold port are designed to be used in sterilizers, bio-reactors , food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceuticals and chemical industries, where hygiene takes top priority. The ingold port fitting offers a clean instrumentation mounting without compromising on the ease-of-use of a removable sensor. In gold port connections are bore cylinders that are welded to tanks into which plugs with O-ring seals are installed. This design has the flexibility to specify the O-ring location to minimize the “dead” space, which allows a clean installation. The ingold solution is ideal for sanitary vessels and fermentation applications. The RTD sensor is built with SS316L sheath. As the sheath does not bend, a sheath length greater than 300 mm is not recommended. The sheath terminates into a die cast, weatherproof aluminium head. The RTD sensors measure temperatures between -50 and 200°C. Its 3 wire PT100 RTD element can be constructed in single or dual assembly in Class A/Class B as per the IEC 751 standard for RTD sensors. Tri clover connections offers a clean and hygienic connection, designed to be clean in place (CIP). It is constructed to have no exposed thread connections and no abrupt changes in the structure, thereby preventing any contaminant buildup.Triclover connections are made of SS316L, built in 1.5”, 1” and 0.5 “ sizes. As the sheath does not bend, a sheath length greater than 300 mm is not recommended. The sheath terminates into a die cast, weatherproof aluminium head. An assembly certified for gas group IIC (Hydrogen) can also be constructed. RHF200 RTD sensors measure temperature between -50 and 250 °C. The RTD element is terminated in nickel-plated brass terminals mounted on a high-purity steatite terminal block. The block is mounted on a spring loaded stainless steel disc to protect the ceramic from impact and vibration damage as well as ensure proper contact inside the protective well. Flameproof RTD sensors are generally constructed with single cable entry and single compression cable glands however, dual cable entry and double compression cable glands are also optionally available. Other options include connecting cables and thermowells.
